2026 Engineering industry Awards
About the
Engineering Industry Awards
The maiden Engineering Industry Awards held under the Theme: Celebrating Innovation, Excellence and Impact seek to provide an opportunity for the engineering fraternity to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate the excellence displayed by engineering practitioners, businesses, government stakeholders, and academic institutions. The awards further seek to recognise and honour individuals who continue to contribute to the mandate of the Engineering Council of South Africa.
These awards are divided into 15 categories, carefully structured under three main classifications:
Honorary Categories:
which pay tribute to lifetime achievements and exceptional service.
Inclusion and Diversity Categories:

Stakeholder Categories:
which recognise the valuable contributions of business, government,
academia, and other partners in strengthening and advancing the engineering fraternity.
